Welcome to the first installation of {meet the volunteers}! We're going to be making this a regular feature on the blog so that you can meet the people involved in Come Together. First up... Studio Nouveau!

May 16, 2010 is going to be a wondrous day.

If you're here, you're likely a bride or groom who was affected by the Forever in Time photography scandal. You maybe got married more than a couple of years ago, and you haven't gotten your photos or your albums yet. You're probably pretty frustrated... and we can't blame you.

Our names are Lara and Kate, and together we make up Studio Nouveau, a pretty fun (if we do say so ourselves) boutique photography partnership. And we want to help you out. We want to give you the most amazing day since your wedding, where you and the other couples in your situation can all - you got it - Come Together: for laughs, for love, and for new photos. We know that nothing can replace the shots from your actual wedding; we also know, though, that you can have a blast with your honey, having new portraits taken in your gown and tux.

We've gathered an incredible group of wedding professionals - pretty much the best in the area - who want to work with you to make this happen. We're talking florists, hair stylists, makeup artists, photographers. We have a seriously hot location lined up (to be revealed soon, so stay tuned). And, maybe most fun of all, once everyone's photos are finished, we'll be hosting a second get-together: a champagne-infused screening to which everyone is invited for the world premiere of the photo highlights of the day.

Over the next days and weeks, we'll be introducing you to the amazing people you'll be working with for this event. They've all volunteered their time and talent to make this the best possible day for you, and we can't wait to help you get to know them. We'll also be posting information on how you can sign up for your own Come Together session.
